Luallen, Warriors Ring Up 8-3 Win
|
The Washington Warriors defeated the New York City Blues, 8-3, at Blues Field. Washington second baseman Bob Luallen had a superb performance. He was 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. This win makes it 9 in a row for Washington.
Early in the game, Luallen had a 2-run home run for Washington. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Warriors on top, 2-0.
"We maximized our offense today," said Washington skipper Angel Sanchez. "That makes everyone's life easier."
