Thomas Bonsack Will Miss 5-6 Months Monday, October 8th , 2012 Detroit (R) starting pitcher Thomas Bonsack suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Pilots. According to club doctors Bonsack has shoulder inflammation. Although Bonsack has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. This year, Bonsack has worked 100.2 innings with 133 strikeouts en route to a 7-3 record and 2.68 ERA. |
