Keystones Hurler Named September's #1 Starter Monday, October 1st , 2012 When the Keystones skipper wrote Foster on the lineup card, it was a bad omen for the opposition. Outing after outing in September he took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-1 mark and 1.77 ERA in 6 starts. The gifted Keystones star pitched 35.2 innings, fanned 42 and held opposing teams to a .145 average. For his excellent mound work Foster was named the R Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. On the year, Foster has compiled a 5-9 mark with a 4.63 ERA. |
