Ridin' High: Gonzales Hits for Cycle Thursday, September 20th , 2012 It was a quite a day for Marco Gonzales at PBC Rookie Development Complex. He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Chicago (R) third baseman accomplished the rare feat during his team's 15-7 victory over the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder. "I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important." Gonzales went 4-for-5 in the game with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. Marco Gonzales hit a two-run home run off Leo Johnson in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
