Thunder Estrada to Miss Year Sunday, August 19th , 2012 The season is apparently over for Ramon Estrada. The Tampa Bay (R) Thunder medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 5 months with radial nerve compression. Estrada was hurt in the game against San Francisco (R) while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Estrada has posted a 3-4 mark in 11 starts and has a 4.91 ERA. |
