R Honors Buckley, Best Hitter in September Saturday, October 1st , 2011 Jim Buckley may be much younger than other hitters in the PBC Rookie Complex League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old St. Louis (R) left fielder hit .463 with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 21 runs scored. To date, Buckley has collected 113 hits for a .347 average. He has posted 15 home runs, scored 69 runs and driven in 65 runs. |
