Torres Wins Award for ABC Dominance Wednesday, October 24th , 2012 He may only be 22, but Benito Torres of the Albuquerque Coyotes has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Amateur Baseball Circuit. The reliever was today named the ABC Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2012. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 16 saves in 35 relief appearances and 59 strikeouts in 55 innings. He had a record of 4-3 to go with his 2.13 ERA. He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 18. Marcus Feacher of the Fort Wayne Farmers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Silas Bennett of the Tulsa Twisters finished third with 1 first place vote.
