Franklin Secures Top Spot in Central Division Saturday, September 15th , 2012 The Franklin Knights may have made it look easy, but the club said winning the Central Division was no easy feat. With a record of 54-21, the team has wrapped up the division in plenty of time to prepare for the postseason, where they will vie for the franchise's 1st Amateur Circuit Cup. "We may have won the division by a large number of games, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a lot of hard work," said third baseman Steve Sullivan. "We put a lot into this and now it's time to focus on the Amateur Circuit Cup." |
