The Boston Battalion reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Tulsa Twisters and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ybanez was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. Ybanez has taken the mound for 2 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-2 record with a 12.15 ERA. The Boston reliever has limited opposing batters to a .424 batting average. |
