Whitehurst ABC's Best of the Week Monday, August 13th , 2012 This week he took his hitting to another level. That's why Sean Whitehurst of the El Paso Mavericks was named the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week. For the week the 24-year-old left fielder batted .667 (14-for-21) with 4 home runs, 6 runs and 11 RBIs. Thus far this season, Whitehurst has hit .315 with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 10 times. |
