Luke Biondo Sidelined for Season Thursday, August 9th , 2012 Doctors in Manchester said Luke Biondo might not play anymore this year. The Monarchs reliever suffered a torn back muscle during a game against the Boston Battalion and will be out for at least 4 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. So far this season, Biondo has a 0-1 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 5 relief appearances, logged 9 innings and fanned 9 batters while fashioning a 15.00 ERA and allowing the opposition a .386 batting average. |
