Knights Rodriguez Has 15 Ks Monday, July 23rd , 2012 Everything was working for Omar Rodriguez at Ballpark of Franklin. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The screwball was working. In an unforgettable performance, the 26-year-old Rodriguez fanned 15 Liberty and sparked the 6-1 Franklin Knights victory over Manhattan. He left Liberty hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Franklin manager Ryan Hautala. "His location and command were really something." In addition to collecting 15 strikeouts over 8.2 innings, Rodriguez allowed 2 hits and 2 walks in a superlative outing. "I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Rodriguez said with a smile. Rodriguez has made 7 starts this season, posting 5 wins and 1 loss.
