Eric McIntosh Hurt, Out for Year Monday, July 16th , 2012 Eric McIntosh of the Liberty just might have to call it quits for the season. The 41-year-old Manhattan starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Providence Grays recently at Providence Field. McIntosh suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing the ball. The Liberty medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months. In 7 starts this season, McIntosh has chalked up a 3-1 record and a 2.88 ERA. |
