David Loewi Out of Lineup 11 Months Monday, October 3rd , 2011 Disappointing news today for Providence Grays fans. David Loewi was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Tulsa Twisters and has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the starting pitcher out at least 11 months. This season to date, Loewi has a record of 6 wins and 9 losses with a 5.97 ERA, has appeared in 22 games and struck out 89 in 107 innings. |
