SPBC Announces Outstanding Player Award Monday, November 5th , 2012 Jake Collier should get a big payoff next year on the heels of his performance in 2012 -- a season that earned him the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Most Valuable Player Award.
In what could be his last season in Green Bay, the center fielder smacked 102 hits, 17 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs and 39 RBIs while hitting .273 with 49 runs scored.
He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 18. Chris Tarter of the Green Bay Braves finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Joe Keenan of the Newark Eagles finished third with 3 first place votes.
