Great Season For Estrada, Wins SPBC Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, November 4th , 2012 An old hand in this game, Tony Estrada of the Vancouver Bruins silenced critics as well as he silenced the opposition this year by winning the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award. The 37-year-old starter threw 157.2 innings, notched 156 strikeouts and put up a 11-6 record to claim the coveted award. He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 18. Sean Dunsmore of the Las Vegas Rollers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Alan Staubitz of the Mexico City Aztecas finished third.
