Chargers Swap Gageby to Eagles for Schneider Friday, November 2nd , 2012 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Chargers announced today the acquisition of 24-year old minor league C Bill Schneider from the Newark Eagles in exchange for 27-year old minor league RHP Takeshi Hashimoto and 24-year old minor league LF Cody Gageby. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Chargers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
