Aztecas Win Division Championship Series Tuesday, October 9th , 2012 The Mexico City Aztecas are on to the SPBC Classic Series, having knocked out the Vacaville Steelheads 4-2. The final blow came tonight at Estadio Azteca, where Mexico City sealed the Division Championship Series with a 6-1 triumph. Jhong-shun Xú was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Xú hit .435 with a .481 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Mexico City Aztecas don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Newark Eagles - Vancouver Bruins series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
