Tarter Tops SPBC with .318 Average

According to his manager, Cody Birk, "Hard work and a good, quick swing were the keys to Chris Tarter winning the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit batting championship this season."
It became official with the close of the regular season that the Green Bay left fielder had won the title with a .318 batting average. During the year Tarter played in 71 games and accumulated 81 hits, including 12 doubles, no triples and 22 home runs.
The SPBC's leading batter also put up 48 RBIs and scored 42 runs.
