Williams Voted September's Rookie Award Monday, October 1st , 2012 For a man of advanced years in baseball terms, Lee Williams is defying all logic by wading through his first Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit season. Nonetheless, Williams is proving a formidable performer for Quebec City, at least as far as this past September is concerned. Today he was hailed as the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Rookie of the Month. He put up a .364 average with 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 22 runs scored. In his 2012 season totals, Williams has 13 home runs, .265 BA, .374 OBP, 36 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
