Allentown Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Saturday, September 29th , 2012 Allentown Fleetwings catcher Wayne Stringfellow said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2012 postseason contention. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2007. In total, the Fleetwings have missed the playoffs 9 times in their 11-year history. |
