Southern California Out of Playoff Race Friday, September 28th , 2012 The playoff chase by the Southern California Empires has run out of steam. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. "We came up short," manager Jimmy Brown said. Southern California last appeared in the postseason in 2009. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 9 times in their 11-year history. |
