The Math Says - Albany Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 26th , 2012 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Albany Senators. Club manager James Hoerning said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Senators have missed the playoffs 9 times in their 11 years as a Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2009. |
