SPBC's Best Player, Wadden of Allentown Monday, September 3rd , 2012 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Bill Wadden was rewarded with the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Allentown Fleetwings left fielder hit .471 while collecting 8 hits in 17 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. This season, Wadden has banged out 50 hits in 163 at-bats for a .307 average with 16 home runs. He is getting on base at a .400 pace and his totals also include 30 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
