Winnipeg-Newark Trade: Sciocchetti for Frost Thursday, March 15th , 2012 The Buffaloes and Eagles announced a deal that was completed today. Winnipeg sent 35-year old 3B Pat Sciocchetti to Newark for 34-year old LHP Dan Frost. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. Sciocchetti is hitting the ball at a .271 clip over his career. In 134 games he has delivered 138 hits, 13 home runs with 57 RBIs and scored 63 times. |
