Boston Trades Brake for Las Vegas's Parker Thursday, December 20th , 2012 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Shamrocks announced today the acquisition of 31-year old minor league LF Iwan Buijs and 34-year old 1B Tony Parker from the Las Vegas Aces in exchange for 23-year old minor league 1B Brandon Brake. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Shamrocks, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." During his career, Parker has hit .263 with 926 hits, 68 home runs, 373 RBIs and scored 485 runs. |
