Boston-Las Vegas Trade: Solis for Jackson Tuesday, December 4th , 2012 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Shamrocks announced today the acquisition of 24-year old minor league RHP Jim Mayer, 23-year old minor league RHP Edik Lubchenkov, and 25-year old minor league RHP David Jackson from the Las Vegas Aces in exchange for 16-year old minor league RHP Raquel Lobato and 18-year old minor league LF Javier Solis. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Shamrocks, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
