El Paso-Las Vegas Swap: Valentin for Soto Tuesday, November 20th , 2012 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Diablos announced today the acquisition of 31-year old 2B Raul Soto from the Las Vegas Aces in exchange for 19-year old minor league RHP Jose Valentin. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Diablos, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Lifetime Soto has hit for a .242 average and totaled 173 hits, 27 home runs and 76 RBIs. |
