It was a glorious year for Ron Clous of the Washington Warriors.

He finished the season with 12 victories and only 6 losses, with an impressive 2.41 ERA. The talented Warriors pitcher started 22 games and struck out 231 batters in 168.1 innings and won the Professional Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award.

"It means a lot," Clous said. "I hadn't really had a chance to sit down and think about it yet. It feels good right now. I can't really put it into words, but I'm sure later on tonight when I have a chance to sit down with my family and think about it, I'll have some words for it. But right now, I'm just happy that it happened this year."

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 18. Mark Brown of the Washington Warriors finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Jesse Steele of the El Paso Diablos finished third.
