Playoffs Won't Happen for Peanuts Monday, October 1st , 2012 In what second baseman Austin Ottens called a "devastating blow" for baseball fans in San Francisco, the San Francisco Peanuts won't be a part of the playoffs this season. They were officially eliminated from contention earlier today. San Francisco last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 5 times in their 13-year history. San Francisco last won the Pro Circuit Cup in 2007. |
