Lions Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, October 1st , 2012 It "never gets easier" to have a playoff push come to an end, according to shortstop Matt Weber of the St. Louis Lions. The St. Louis player said his club was banking on being able to push themselves into the postseason, but they are now mathematically eliminated. Before this season, the Lions last missed the playoffs in 2010. In the 13 years they have been a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise, they have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
