Boston Narrowly Wins North Division Monday, October 1st , 2012 The Shamrocks kicked off a raucous celebration in Boston tonight, as they edged the competition to win the North Division. "We all knew what was at stake and how important it was to finish strong. We're proud to be able to call ourselves champions of the North Division," said starting pitcher Edwin Quevedo. Manager Matt Mays said with the club's 49-39 record, they may not be considered odds-on favorites to win the Pro Circuit Cup, but nobody should look past them or count them out. "We are division champions for a reason," he said. This was the 4th division title in franchise history. |
