Bertsche Visits Children at Cancer Treatment Center Wednesday, September 26th , 2012 Lions third baseman Kyle Bertsche took time out from his busy schedule today to visit a local children's cancer treatment center. Bertsche signed autographs and took pictures with many of the young patients. He even gave several of them caps, jerseys, and gloves. "Just seeing the smiles on these kids' faces, knowing what they've gone through, it just warms your heart", said a beaming Bertsche. When asked who his favorite player was, one little boy smiled broadly and exclaimed, "Kyle Bertsche!" |
