Texans, Lions Swap Players Sunday, August 26th , 2012 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Texans announced today the acquisition of 17-year old minor league LHP Hadde van der Burg from the St. Louis Lions in exchange for 29-year old RHP Christian Goyer. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Texans, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Currently Goyer has a record of 2-7 with 77 strikeouts and 46 walks in 90.2 innings and a 5.96 ERA. |
