Motors Pitching Ravaged by Moreno Thursday, August 23rd , 2012 All game long, New York City's Damani Moreno was rattling the walls at Blues Field and banging out base hits against the Detroit Motors. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Blues had a win, 11-8. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 33-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Damani Moreno hit an RBI single in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Bill Rizzuto in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
