In a crucial game, the Mexico City Aztecas put on their best show, beating the Vancouver Bruins by a final score of 6-5. Ryan Overberg hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Mexico City and Vancouver are now tied at 3 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.

Bridgeport, Connecticut-born Tyler Thomas came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded and the Aztecas trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single to right-center to put Mexico City on top.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Thomas.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
