Arias, Aztecas Take Dramatic Game 1 for 1-0 Series Lead
The Mexico City Aztecas started the SPBC Classic Series in dramatic fashion, stealing Game 1 from the Vancouver Bruins in a walk-off in the 10th inning. Mexico City took the 2-1 win thanks in large part to a good day from starter Alex Arias. The right-hander threw 9.2 innings of 4-hit ball in the win, which gave the Aztecas a 1-0 lead to start the best-of-7 series.

Arias allowed 1 run over 9.2 innings. He also racked up 10 strikeouts.

"No weaving and bobbing. Alex came right after them," said Mexico City manager Kyle Boss.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
