The Winnipeg Buffaloes scooped up a win at Goldeyes Park, dumping the Mexico City Aztecas, 6-2. Chris Rosario was essential to his team's success. Rosario got the win, improving to 6-7. He gave up 3 hits and walked 4 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The Buffaloes improved their record to 41-43 with the win over Mexico City.

Zach Rentz had a big 2-run double for the Buffaloes in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Winnipeg leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Colin Mueller, who is tied for 5th in the SPBC with a 1.09 WHIP, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Buffaloes ahead, 5-2.

"Chris gave us everything he had," said Winnipeg manager Jonathan Gandara.
