Hamilton and Saskatoon took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Hamilton beat Saskatoon at Hamilton Park, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to right fielder Dan Stricklin. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, Hamilton raised its record to 44-38.

Had Ryan Lynn not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Lynn hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Tigers.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Lynn.
