Blues Rally Late to Nip Aces
The performance of Sam Kellam proved critical in helping New York City beat Las Vegas, 6-5. The Blues center fielder went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Reliever Harry Parker picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Preston Bailey took the loss. The win boosted New York City to 30-26.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With New York City trailing 5-4, Kellam jumped on a cutter from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Preston Bailey and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Blues had a walk-off win.

"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Kellam told a local reporter after the game.
