The Detroit Motors topped the Tampa Bay Thunder, 4-3, in Professional Baseball Circuit action at The Motor Yard. The game was highlighted by the performance of Detroit pitcher Matt Zuniga. Min-jae Cho snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-3 on the season. Zeke Smothers suffered the loss. The win has Detroit at 31-47.

Paul Fitzgerald went 1-2 with a double and a walk for Detroit. The 27-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off John Hunter. It was his 30th RBI of the season.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Tampa Bay skipper Kevin Norris, "and it cost us."
