Lions Take Home 4-1 Win Over Boston
St. Louis Lions pitcher Paul Easterling was in fine form, leading his team past the Boston Shamrocks, 4-1. Jon Flores collected his 3rd save. The third-place Lions improved to 41-32.

St. Louis used a clutch at-bat from Kyle Bertsche to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Lions ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Bertsche attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
