The Toronto Titans and Denver Cutthroats delighted fans at Cutter's Cove.

The Denver Cutthroats beat the Toronto Titans, 5-4, at Cutter's Cove. The win was due in part to shortstop Dewey Duggan, who was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jon Lund got the win, improving to 8-6. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Jim Jordan, credited with the save, is now 5 for 5 in save opportunities.

Omari Lewis was 2-3 with a double for Denver. The 28-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Francisco Chavez. It was his 17th RBI of the season.

"It was a good effort all around," said Duggan.
