St. Louis Lions starter Chun-mei Li pitched a strong game against the Miami Sun Sox at Sun Sox Stadium, leading the Lions to victory, 5-4. Li got the win, improving to 6-3. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 4 runs. With the win, St. Louis raised its record to 37-23.

St. Louis used a clutch at-bat from Matt Weber to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Lions ahead, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Li.
