The Vancouver Bruins knocked off the Saskatoon Moose, 6-5, at Bruins Stadium. Brent Pierce was a big reason Vancouver won. The right fielder belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Wil Monroy was the winner. Over 6 innings, he yielded 4 runs on 7 hits, with 6 walks and 5 strikeouts.
