Michael Maya pitched a gem to lead Winnipeg to victory over the Detroit Chargers, 4-1. Oscar Angel nailed down his 4th save. Winnipeg has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Winnipeg designated hitter Dorek Bolesta contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a splitter to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Buffaloes ahead, 4-0.

"Michael never lets off the gas," said Winnipeg manager Jonathan Gandara. "Good, bad, or ugly, he never gives in."
