Greg Brandt led Allentown to a win over Mexico City. The final score was 7-6. The first baseman had a huge performance. He whacked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Hector Terrones earned the save for Allentown, his 8th of the year. The second-place Fleetwings lifted their record to 37-31.

Allentown took advantage of an error in the top of the ninth inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Jason Buckner hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Fleetwings in front, 6-4.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Allentown manager Eric Roberge.
