The El Paso Diablos outlasted the Los Angeles Knights in an extra-inning thriller.

The El Paso Diablos beat the Los Angeles Knights, 4-3, at Camelot. The Diablos got a fine performance from right fielder Mike Nelson, who was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Kris Giglio picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Chris Thompson, who is tied for 7th in the PBC in wins with 6, was tagged with the loss.

El Paso used the timely hitting of Jeremy Coralic to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Diablos on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You play a lot of one-run games," said El Paso skipper Joe Peters, "and it seems there's one play somewhere in there that changes the game."

With the win, El Paso raised its record to 23-21.
