Alfredo Negrete was instrumental in his team's 9-4 triumph over the Los Angeles Knights. The catcher went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Denver Cutthroats. The Cutthroats raised their record to 23-36.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Cutthroats grabbed the lead when Negrete hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Steve Estrada made it 5-4, Denver.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Negrete.
