The Winnipeg Buffaloes and Allentown Fleetwings delighted fans at Fleetwings Ballpark.

The Allentown Fleetwings defeated the Winnipeg Buffaloes, 7-3, in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Fleetwings Ballpark. Allentown pitcher Jorge Araujo had a standout performance. In 7.1 innings, Araujo surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Picking up his 9th save was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Ken Zimmermann.

The Fleetwings got a big at-bat from catcher Wayne Stringfellow. For the game, Stringfellow was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Allentown a 2-0 lead.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Stringfellow.

At 32-23, the Fleetwings have a slim two-game lead in the East Division.
